The Conformable or Handformable series were developed for the telecommunications market. The semi-rigid cable for the military market. Inexpensive, quickly available, easy to form without the need for complicated tools and the use of standard SemiRigid connectors were the requirements for the design. Semirigid cables have a copper tube or a stainless steel tube as outer conductor, Conformable/ Handformable have a continuous tin-plated copper braid. Depending on the measurement method, we achieve - 110dB shielding effectiveness for Conformable/Handformable and - 140dB for Semirigid. The biggest advantage of the Conformable/Handformable cables are the available individual lengths. With Semirigid you can reach a maximum length of 30 meters and with the Handformable over 100 meters.
In recent years, different impedances have been set up for amplifiers and antennas. 25 OHM, 35OHM and 75 OHM with an external diameter of 0. 141inch are in our product portfolio.
This requirement runs under the heading of special construction, which we offer as a service from 500 metres upwards. Here we recommend the fixed sheathed cables/semirigid cables as a solution.
